Public Teaching
Public Teaching
Public teaching offers an opportunity to make the complex work of teaching visible, as well as draw attention to new ways of thinking about content and pedagogy. During a public teaching event, a teacher or pair of teachers facilitates a lesson while keys stakeholders silently observe. Through pre-brief and debrief sessions, the teaching is used as a text for further learning. If you are a K-12 or higher education faculty member who would like to host or participate in a public teaching event, let us know with the link to the left.
