Environmental and Climate Change Literacy Project

The Citizen Scientist Project is part of the first ever partnership between the University of California and California State University systems of higher education. The goal of this partnership is to build the capacity of K-12 systems and teacher education programs to foster environmentally and climate change literate citizens, who can identify and take informed action to conserve our planet and its inhabitants.

At the first Summit of this partnership, which was held in December 2019 at University of California, Los Angeles, the Citizen Scientist Project was featured as an exemplar for our work developing GIRL/GIRL+ Camps with University of California, Davis.
