CitSci GIRL/GIRL+ Camps

Working in partnership with the UC Davis C-STEM Center, our Citizen Science Girls in Robotics Leadership (GIRL) Camps are designed to inspire and build the capacity of middle and high school girls to pursue C-STEAM fields. The camps also empower girls to use their budding competencies in the C-STEAM disciplines to address issues of community concern and contribute to science policy discourse through active engagement in citizen science projects. We also see these Camps as an innovative space for teachers to develop new ways to engage C-STEAM and civic action in their own classroom.

Currently, we offer Citizen Science GIRL/GIRL+ Camps for Kern High School District, Bakersfield City School District, and Greenfield Union School District. See below for details and next steps.

If you would like to host a GIRL Camp in your district, please contact us through our "Let's Collaborate" tab.
