The initial diagnostic phase is the first stage of the project cycle. It involves collecting data (both secondary and primary) in order to assess the needs of the affected populations and determine whether we can help to meet them. The information collected will then be used to inform the strategic planning of the Delegation and the HNS and to design a high-quality project.
The phase of strategic programming and project planning is the second stage of the project cycle. Its purpose is to define the intervention strategy of a Delegation and to construct the intervention logic of the Delegation for new projects to be developed. Strategic programming and quality planning must be carried out jointly with the HNS.
The project implementation and monitoring phase is the third stage of the project cycle. It begins once the project planning phase is complete, with a project launch workshop. This workshop is followed by the implementation of activities carried out in close collaboration with the HNS, then the monitoring and management of the project.
The closure and evaluation phase of a project is the final stage of the project cycle. It refers to the cessation of activities. Monitoring and a final evaluation are crucial to help decide whether to continue or terminate the project. A closing workshop, internal and/or external, allows for a review of the project and the preparation of communication to the communities.
