Preliminary steps :
I want to become familiar with the NSD framework
I want to work on my positioning vis-à-vis partners and that of my teams
Steps to follow:
I assess the quality of the FRC's existing partnership with the NSH
I review the NH's strategic documents to align myself with their strategies
I review the unified plan currently in place in the country
I review the National societies' internal assessments to sharpen my understanding of their needs
I find out what other partners are doing to ensure complementarity
I familiarise myself with the various NSD themes of the FRC
I check that the requirements for an NSD approach are met
I learn about the various possible courses of action for implementing an NSD initiative in the field
I work with the SNH to define the FRC's priority areas of support for their development
