ONGOING INITIATIVES
Strengthening operational capacities of the Guinea Red Cross in terms of commercial First Aid
This project aims to strengthen the operational capacities of the National Society in terms of commercial First Aid for the Guinea Red Cross to generate income to increase its financial independence.
The project was carried out in two separate phases. Multiple activities have been carried out such as manual review, capacity building of 8 regional teams in terms of commercial First Aid, acquiring training equipment, raising awareness and promoting commercial First Aid.

Support in terms of audit and compliance and the development of fraud and corruption policies
An audit support mission was carried out at the GRC headquarters to update the risk mapping. A workshop was held, attended by the GRC, to establish anti-fraud and anti-corruption procedures and tools for the PSEA.

Support for the development of HR procedures
The FRC supported the GRC in developing its HR procedure manual.

Strategic assessment funding- OCAC
The FRC provided financial support to the CRG for a comprehensive assessment (OCAC) enabling the SN to review the organisational elements of the SN.
