CRI is changing quickly and now has to deal with growing administration demands : finance management and HR management software, office software for staff, event organisation, meeting scheduling and ressources reservation, online form processing and process automation, etc.
As our aim is to keep CRI up-to-date and scalable, all our future administration apps should be completely online. It will also help us to seamlessly move in Charles V new building.
Finance and IT teams are working on functional and technical specifications.
CRI members should use Google apps whenever possible, to have truly collaborative documents where many persons can update the document at the same time. In Microsoft Office, version conflicts are very common.
To achieve this, some training might be necessary for the staff.
A user-friendly tool with clear interface, well integrated with Google Calendar. In most cases, Google Calendar itself can do the job nicely, if people use it as their main pro calendar with their CRI account.
In concertation with the communication team, IT Team installed Attendize to organize events and sell tickets. It's an opensource solution that is engaging, powerful easy to customize and free. Meetup can be used to mobilize communities for our events.
Since we have a great number of apps, we might use an app directory or an ENT (Digital Work Environment in french university mumbo-jumbo). The easiest way to achieve this would be to integrate the most critical apps to the CRI Google App Store.
