Drum Corps International is an organization that promotes “excellence in performance and in life.” Each summer thousands of 13 to 22 years old individuals audition and tour with one of many Drum and Bugle Corps from the middle of May through August in an effort to perfect their Drum Corps (Marching Band) Show while competing against other Drum and Bugle Corps. This activity is Marching Band at its highest level and is an extraordinary experience especially if you have never witnessed it before. Much of the Music, Drill Design, Color Guard Routines, and approach to Marching Band in the Crestview Music Department is modeled after Drum Corps International.
Permission Slips are due by FRIDAY, JULY 26TH at our Marching Band Rehearsal. Please contact Mr. Bable at ebable@crestviewlocal.k12.oh.us if you will not be able to turn in your permission slip at that time. Permission Slips will be accepted at any time up until that date.
Checks should be made payable to the Crestview Music Boosters. Payments must be turned in with Permission Slips. If you complete the online form, you DO NOT need to complete the hardcopy form, only submit payment.
You may include multiple students on this form, but for the time being we must limit the number of chaperones to one per student (if interested).
Students should bring money to eat dinner at the stadium.
