My daughter and her husband were married at the court house in St. Charles, Missouri. Their large ceremony and reception are scheduled for next January, but we still wanted to honor their marriage. We created a scavenger hunt for them to celebrate the day. It was very inexpensive to create and we had a really wonderful time celebrating them. Here is a copy of the hunt we sent them on. It would be easy to recreate. Here is free access to it!
When Life throws a curveball at you and college graduation is canceled. YOU make your own ceremony.
We surprised our kids with a graduation ceremony. We included graduation music and a procession to the patio. We all dressed up and wore our gowns for the occasion. A ceremony packet was created and everyone had a role. The guest speaker for the event was a YouTube video. Everyone gave a speech became emotional and it felt real. The kids had a great sense of accomplishment. Celebrating accomplishments is very rewarding.
