Achievements: Helping Paws hosted a Holiday Toy Drive where we donated new, unwrapped toys to the Toys for Tots organization, which gifts toys to less fortunate children in the United States. Created dog toys from old t-shirts that students brought in, which was donated to the Anti-Cruelty Society.

The Payton Art and Literature Magazine (PALM) features art and literature created by students within the Payton community (including PALM staff). Throughout the year, we publish digital zines with different themes that feature chosen artwork and literature, culminating in a printed final magazine at the end of the year. Staff editors vote on themes and curate the submissions that end up being featured. More information can be found at wpcp-palm.com!

Payton News Network is a student-led collaborative video news club that creates weekly broadcasts covering school events, student accomplishments, and opportunities. Members build skills in interviewing, camerawork, script writing, anchoring, using filming equipment, video editing, and more. The club also encourages open participation, featuring Payton students and faculty as guest anchors.

Writing Workshop is a student-run club that aims to help Payton students foster and grow their writing skills. We provide opportunities for writing tutoring, peer workshops, and writing in response to prompts. We also hope to provide resources to facilitate students' entrance into various writing competitions and submission of articles for publication in journals, in order to expand our school's language arts opportunities. Writing Workshop meets every Tuesday enrichment, and we bring snacks for google classroom members!
