Teens Talk Teeth is a public health volunteer group that presents to elementary schools about oral health and healthy oral health habits. Teens Talk Teeth works in collaboration with the CPS Office of Student Health and Wellness, CareQuest Innovation Partners - a public health focused corporation, faculty at the UIC College of Dentistry, and Mobile Care Chicago - a local nonprofit providing care to underserved communities, in order to reach as many students as possible across Chicago and nationally.
Teens Talk Teeth members get opportunities to learn about healthcare, public health, medicine, dentistry, working with kids, and are able to build up volunteer hours.

Raised $7,371 in grants.
Presented to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students at multiple schools (dentists at the UIC College of Dentistry have validated our presentations).
Applied for and received pro-bono legal aid from the Loyola School of Law to become a non-profit.
Have started to work on expanding nationally.
Had 16 health leaders come in during our seminar, including the Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health.

UNICEF (the United Nations Children's Fund) is a humanitarian organization that specializes in advocating for children through fighting for basic rights, providing resources and developmental aid, administering vaccinations, etc. Our club aims to host fundraisers to raise money to send to UNICEF so that they can provide aid to children worldwide. Additionally, we inform students about global conflicts to spread further awareness.
