What is the value of exploring the unknown?
Exploring the unknown is to do something for the first time. Being so passionate about something that you are willing to take the risk without knowing the consequences of this act. When you explore into the unknown you open new opportunities for yourself or the opposite. You never know until you put yourself forward for this. As a society we are suddenly open to these new views, opportunities , and chances but sometimes we can also be set back by these actions depending on what it is. These things may help people advance because they might have had the same thoughts or interest but didn't have the platform or it shaped them into the person they are in present day creating a new role model.
Colin Kaepernick explored the unknown by being the first football player in history to do take a knee during the national anthem . He did this as a peaceful protest to show systematic racism and the racial injustice against African Americans.
He is now an American civil rights activist and a ex football player for the NFL
Colin established a foundation called "The Colin Kaepernick Foundation" is a nonprofit with the main goals of overcoming oppression through social activity and education.
As a result he lost his job and ruined his career.
