Yes i agree with Oscar Wilde because, The Mirabal sisters had to disobey they're  own president in order to emphasized the importance of speaking out on violence against women this was in 1999. As well as how every women has a right to live without violence. Sooner and later the Dominican republic snapped out of the delusion that their president is kind and respectful but the whole time he was disrespecting women and treated them inhuman.

 Activist at this time were illegal and the Mirabal sisters disobeyed that rule along with their husbands so Trujillo the president at that time put them all of them in jail but soon freed the sisters and kept the husbands in jail one day they went to go visit they're husbands and got stopped in a highway path and were soon killed by Trujillo's men they beat them to death and soon tried to play it off that they crashed in a car accident."The assassins then put the four bodies back in the car and pushed it over a cliff to make it look like an accident."
