About Ms Nguyen...
My name is Ms. Nguyen (pronounced "win"). I am proud to say I am on my 28th year of teaching at Portage Park School.
I strongly believe that knowledge is power so I have successfully obtained my masters degree in Teaching and Learning, have endorsements in middle school Mathematics with certification to teach Algebra, English Language Arts, Social Science, and English Language Learners. I achieved National Board Certification for Professional Learning in December 2023.
Our family is made up of 6 amazing kids: Charley (13), Katie (14), Fiore (15), Zack (16), Jalen (20), & Tristen (23). Our pets consist of Zeus (our 4 year old male Bull Mastiff), Harley (our 8 month old female Corso), Yin (4 year old female chinchilla) & Max, our snake who is over 5 feet long.
Every year our family goes on a fishing trip...yes I love to fish as well as try to visit a different state. This past summer we traveled through 5 different states, visited Mount Rushmore via helicopter,
My favorite sport is eating.... ok its softball/baseball.
