Scheduling Process

Freshmen (Class of 2029) 

Current Freshman students will input their own course requests into Aspen during Freshman Seminar on March 4th and 5th. The Course Request section of Aspen will remain open to current freshmen students through Sunday March 8th to make changes. If students have questions about their course requests for next year, they should reach out to me via email or GChat to schedule a meeting prior to Freshman Seminar. Students will not have an opportunity to make changes to their course requests after March 8th until August.

Sophomores (Class of 2028)

Current Sophomore students will input their own course requests into Aspen on February 24th and 25th during Sophomore Seminar. The Course Request section of Aspen will remain open to sophomore students through Sunday, March 1st. Sophomores will have an opportunity to make changes to the courses they selected during their Sophomore Conference. The Sophomore Conference is each student’s one-on-one meeting with me - during that meeting we will review the student’s transcript, make any request changes to the student’s course requests, and discuss summer planning. Sophomore Conferences will begin March 9th. Appointment times for students are generated in a random order. After their Sophomore Conference meeting students will not have an opportunity to make changes to their course requests until August. 

Juniors (Class of 2027)

Current Junior students will input their own course requests into Aspen on February 4th and 5th during English class. Counselors will come to all English classes to instruct students how to schedule. The Course Request section of Aspen will remain open to current junior students through Sunday, February 8th.  Juniors will have an opportunity to make changes to the courses they selected during their Junior Conference. The Junior Conference is each student’s one-on-one meeting with me - during that meeting we will review the student’s transcript, make any request changes to the student’s course requests, and discuss post-secondary planning. Junior Conferences will begin February 9th.  Appointment times for students are generated in a random order. After their Junior Conference meeting students will not have an opportunity to make changes to their course requests until August.
