Join us each Friday for a virtual field trip! You will experience everything from famous landmarks and a trip in space to candy making and museums.
Do you have your passport ready? Track all of the exciting trips with a virtual passport. Simply download a copy of the below passport and begin the fun. You can change the passport to reflect your name and even add your own picture or Bitmoji. Inside the passport, you can add a virtual stamp, picture, or badge for every place your visit on Virtual Fun Field Trip Fridays.
Buckle your seatbelt, and let's take a trip!
Ever wondered how M&Ms are made? Get the scoop in this virtual field trip video!
Afterward, design a new candy. Is it a chocolate bar? Maybe it is sour. Think of all of the ingredients that would go into making your new candy. List the ingredients and draw your new candy.
Then, think about how your candy would be made. Write the process for making your candy, and design a machine that could do all of the work!
Show us your candy creations! Share pictures of your work with us at partners@covington.kyschools.us.
Have you ever visited Walt Disney World? If not, you can experience many of the Disney World rides through videos. Take a virtual ride of Space Mountain, Slinky Dog Dash, Frozen Ever After, and so much more! Experience the most magical place on earth by viewing the videos below.
After you've had the Disney experience, design the next big ride Disney World could add to their long list of rides and attractions. Think about what will attract people to a ride, what age group your ride will be suitable for, the size of your ride, the color of your ride, and more. Will your ride spin? Is it a roller coaster? Will it go upside down? Will your ride go backwards?
Draw a picture of your new ride, and don't forget to give it a fantastic name!
