Create pins on the Google Maps shared for their class and type facts about the state with pictures.
They also use the tool for outlining shapes on map for their assigned state.
This is a powerful digital tool as students can visualize information in a new way. The class as a whole has created an interactive database on the map itself for their US state and can also see other student’s research on the same map collaboratively.
