Remote Learning Resources

The effect of the stress and trauma of the COVID19 pandemic has had, and continues to have, on our students is epic. During this challenging time, our schools have played a vital role in establishing routines, providing engaging lessons and maintaining relationships with peers and teachers. These resources are intended to support educators as they provide meaningful remote learning experiences and APPs for students to apply their learning.

This google site provides online resources and tips for families and teachers. The strategies presented here can be adapted to fit the needs of individual students.

This easy to use free Chrome extension app records and shares videos for designing personalized, engaging remote learning lessons.

Ziteboard is an online whiteboard tool that can be used in real time and allows easy insertion of PDF’s and other instructional supports and images.

Remote learning with Seesaw provides a learning platform and resources for administrators, teachers and families to view lessons, assign tasks and enhance learning.

Flipgrid engages students in discourse by creating “grids” to facilitate class discussions. Encourage students' creativity with icebreakers, book talks, demonstrations of learning, goal setting and reflections.

Epic! digital library app enables teachers to assign personalized high-quality books on students’ independent reading level while tracking their progress.
