Committee on Special Education

The NYC Department of Education, Committee on Special Education (CSE) is responsible for the initiation of all special education services as documented on an Individualized Education Services Plan (IESP) and the annual review of student's services. The resources provided focus on the process and procedures of referral, evaluation, and creating an IEP, process for converting an IEP to an IESP and 504 to a Student Assistance Plan, and information on related services.
