During the planning and production of your magazines you will need to document all of the work you have completed on your website. The Google Doc linked to the right is a simple list of the basic tasks that will be expected of you, however any additional work you complete will be valid and should be included. Also it is important to keep a frequent diary, reflecting on your progress. Each of the key sections you must address in your blog with supporting guidance are also linked to the right.
Please use this calendar to book in your photoshoots. Please be advised that you will not be able to conduct shoots during lesson time so please consult the room timetable here. You must also ensure that your photoshoot is completed by 5:30pm, with equipment packed down by then as students are expected to vacate the premises by then. Please make any additional notes for the photoshoot such as screen colour and light set up in the booking to help speed up the set-up process. For a detailed guide on how to use this booking system please see the short tutorial below:
This handbook is a helpful tool to give you some basic ideas of what is possible in our photoshoot studio. It is very important that you view this as a starting point and adapt these techniques to create your own unique look. There are also plenty of lighting techniques not outlined in this guide so you are encouraged to research additional ones to use in your own magazines.
