As in your AS coursework, one of the best ways to begin your assignment is to first look at the submissions by previous students. Use the Kellett Media blog hub to find a suitable example from a previous student and go through their website. You should document your findings on their site, a screencast can be a time effective way to do this.
Find a music video from the same genre of song you wish to produce. Use your skills from Key Media Concepts A to analyze it's use of camera, editing, sound and mise-en-scene.
Find a digipak (an album cover) from an album of a similar genre to the one you wish to produce. Try to find one where you can access as much of it as possible (Front cover, back cover, inside cover, disk print, etc.). Complete an analysis of the digipak discussing features such as image, typeface, layout, use of colour, use of language, legal considerations and any other elements you feel are worthy of note.
Find two to three social media feeds for a band of a similar genre to the one you wish to promote. You will need to analyze these feed, areas you should focus on are:
Produce a post that outlines camera angles popular within moving image productions. These can range from the very most basic (e.g. Mid-shot, close up, etc) to the more outlandish and unconventional (trombone shot etc.). The Key Media Concepts A glossary is a useful starting point for researching these.
