Whilst the portfolio should follow the normal menu structure, it is also important you add buttons to the Home page of your website to individually link the examiner to your video, digipak and social media page, it is also advised you add a button for the evaluation. This is to help the examiner find the highest mark awarding sections quickly and easily which will put you in good favour.
Use the tutorial to the right to export your final video, however it is recommended you set the average bitrate to 20mbit/s as opposed to the originally recommended 10. This is to make sure your video is viewable in the highest possible quality. Once complete please make the export available in your Home folder on the Media Server and share it directly with your teacher via Google Drive to allow them to embed it in the Showcase section. Finally you must upload the video to a hosting platform of your choice and embed it into your website, if using YouTube ensure your video is marked as 'Unlisted' or you may received a copy-write infringement warning, as well as have your video removed.
Export your Digipak as an A3 PDF (Print). It is advised that you then glue this to A3 card and cut according to the template guidelines to create a physical copy of your Digipak which you can then photograph to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the medium. You should then upload your Digipak PDF template and photos you have taken of the physical copy and embed them into your site, you can see an example of this here.
Whilst it is acceptable to produce several Social Media feeds to demonstrate a deeper understanding of this Media field, it is important to remember the specification only cites for you to produce one. As a result it is very important you make it clear which Social Media feed is your 'main' submission. Instead of just entering hyperlinks, it is recommended you create an edited image 'button' to hyperlink to your Social Media feed, this will make your website look more professional and also facilitate the examiner in navigating your site efficiently, for an exemplar based on the old specification (Website) click here.
