Carrum Health is a special surgery benefit available to employees and family members enrolled in CSVEBA PPO plans. Members must meet their deductible if they’re on a high-deductible plan, but copays and coinsurance are waived.

Covered surgeries include heart surgery, total joint replacements, neck and back (spine) and other orthopedic/musculoskeletal surgeries for shoulders, elbows, wrist/hands, hips, knees, ankles/feet. Carrum doctors have more experience performing procedures and lower complication rates than 90% of providers. The Carrum team does all of the planning, preparation, and paperwork so you can focus on what matters — your health.

Depending on your medical plan and the type of care you need, you may first need to meet your deductible, but otherwise most, if not all, costs are often covered. Second opinions are provided at no cost to members, and do not require payment of any deducible.
