ARGENTINA WINS THE WORLD CUP

The World Cup started on  November 20 and ended on December 18, 2022     On November 21st team USA and Wales had a tie 1 to 1.     USA played a huge game on November 29  and beat Iran advancing them to round 16 .  On Saturday December 3  they lost to  Netherlands and were eliminated.   8 teams were left as  of Friday, December 9 .  (Croatia, Brazil, Netherlands, Argentina, Morocco, Portugal, England, France.) 

Argentina won  an exciting finale against France giving Messi his long deserved World Cup trophy.  It is considered one of the best World Cup matches in history.  It went into 2 overtimes and was decided by a penalty shoot out.
