Cancellation of the Parents Day (7/29)/ 授業参観(7/29) のキャンセルについて

Dear parents/guardians,

It is with sad hearts to announce that we will cancel the Parent Open Day for Week #2 of Summer School (July 29th, Thu). As for Parent Open Day for the remaining weeks of the summer school program, Covid-19 cases will be monitored and a decision will be made at a later date.

This was a difficult decision, as we really enjoy having parents visit the school and experience lessons in an English environment. However, Covid-19 cases have been on the rise throughout Japan and we would like to take all the necessary precautions. Our decision was made with the intentions of keeping students, parents, and school staff healthy and safe. We would also like to avoid any school closure. This decision will aid us in achieving our goal.

We apologize for any inconveniences and appreciate your continued support. Hopefully by next year, Parent Open Day can be held as planned.

残念なお知らせとなってしまいますが、Covid-19感染拡大状況を鑑みて、サマースクール第2週目の授業参観（7月29日、木）を中止させていただくことになりましたので連絡さしあげます。 サマースクールの残りの週の授業参観につきましては、その時のCovid-19の状況を考慮した上で、後日決定させていただきます。

私共も保護者の方々に学校を訪問していただき、英語環境でのレッスンを体験していただくことをとても楽しみにしておりましたので、この決定は難しいものでした。 しかし、Covid-19の感染者は日本全国で増加していますので、必要な予防措置を取りたいと考えております。 今回の決定は、生徒、保護者、学校スタッフの健康と安全を守るためのものです。 また、サマースクールの休校も避けたいと考えています。 今回の決定は、私たちの目標を達成するための一助となると考えております。

保護者の皆様にはご不便をおかけしますが、引き続きご協力をお願いいたします。 来年には、予定通り授業参観を開催できることを願っています。

Summer School Typhoon Update/台風接近に伴うサマースクール開校状況について

Hello parents/guardians,

The school is closely monitoring Typhoon Nepartak. At this time, the school plans to open and run as usual tomorrow. However, if there is a change in plans, we will post an update on the Summer School Blog. Please be sure to check the blog tonight and tomorrow morning.
