サマースクール返金完了のご案内 / Summer School Refund Completed

Dear Week 4 attendants of Summer School 2021,

Thank you for your support throughout the program.

The refund for the Summer School cancellation was made on Monday, September 27th to your designated bank accounts. Please check your account to see if you received it. For those who had more than two children attended Week 4, the fees of the siblings were added up and refunded together. (Eg. if you have two children, we refunded 48,000 yen, not 24,000 yen x 2)

We wish that the Covid-19 pandemic will be resolved as soon as possible and that peace will return to our days.

We also look forward to seeing you next summer!

サマースクールの返金のご案内 / Summer School Refund

Dear Week 4 attendants of Summer School 2021,

Thank you for your support throughout the program.

Columbia International School cancelled the Summer School Program from August 11th to 13th in order to protect the health and safety of students, parents/guardians, and staff.

Therefore, we will refund a total of 24,000 yen (8000 yen per day including everything) for the cancelled days (08.11 to 08.13) as outlined in the tuition refund policy for school closures due to COVID-19 circumstances.

Please fill in the form for 【parent's/guardian's】 bank account information to receive the refund.

The transfer fee will be covered by school. The refund is planned to be made late September. The school will inform parents/guardians through the summer school blog/email when the refund has been made.

Further updates will be provided through the blog and email. Please continue to monitor the blog and your email.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the situation.

コロンビアインターナショナルスクールは、生徒とその家族及び教職員の健康と安全を守るため、8月11日から13日までのサマースクールプログラムを中止いたしました。

つきましては、休校に伴う授業料返金規定に基づき、8月11日から13日までの合計24,000円（すべてを含め1日あたり8000円）を返金いたします。

ご返金に際しまして、【保護者様の】銀行口座情報をこのフォームにてご回答お願いいたします。

振込手数料は当校負担といたします。9月末までにご返金できるよう計画しております。ご返金日が確定次第、サマースクールブログやメールにてご連絡差し上げます。

COVID19 Case

Close contact staff members tested COVID19 negative this evening (08.11).

We would like to remind everyone to continue practicing COVID prevention protocols that have been outlined by health officials.

A good diet, sleep, and some exercises will keep us healthy and strong.

Hopefully in the next year, the presence of COVID recedes and we can continue summer school without any interruptions.

Thank you again for your patience, understanding, and continued support.

Refund

We are preparing to process refunds according to regulations. We plan to bank wire the funds by the end of September. Please wait for updates on the summer blog and email.

Personal Items Left Behind

Personal item pick up will be available at the school from August 16th to August 20th, from 9:00 to 15:00. If parents wish to receive personal items by COD, please inform the office of your request by email. It is important that parents describe the personal items in detail to the office so that school staff can identify them. If personal items are not labeled, the office may not send them by COD.

当該教職員のPCR検査結果は、本日8/11，全員、陰性と報告されました。

引き続き、皆様には感染症対策に取り組んでいただけますようお願いいたします。

来年は、コロナ禍が去り、サマースクールが最後まで運営できることを期待しています。

1. COVID19 Case

A family member of summer school staff members tested positive for COVID19. We were informed at 11:00 today (08.11.21) that the PCR test results for the staff members in close contact will be available after 17:00 at the earliest.

Until we receive the results, we would like to request that everyone consider themselves a close contact and stay home. Please monitor your health from August 9th until further notice.

If you would like to consult with your home doctor or your local public support center, please explain the following facts:

(a) You have been attending the summer school program at Columbia International School since August 9th. A family member of staff members tested positive for COVID on August 10th. The staff members in close contact had a PCR testing on August 11th.

(b) The results of the PCR tests will be available after 17:00 on August 11th at the earliest (as of 12:00 today).

(c) The health log of your child(ren) and your family since August 9th.

Please keep an eye on the summer school blog for updates.

2. Refund

１．新型コロナ感染症の発生状況について

サマースクール教職員の家族が新型コロナ感染症陽性となりました。当校は、当該教職員を濃厚接触者として扱い、PCR検査結果を待っています。PCR検査結果は、本日8/11午前11時現在、はやくても8/11夕方5時以降と報告を受けております。

この結果が明らかになるまでは、全員、濃厚接触者として外出を控え、8/9からの健康観察を継続してください。

もしかかりつけ医やサポートセンターへご相談される場合は、

a)コロンビアインターナショナルスクールでサマースクールに8/9から参加していて、8/10に教職員の家族が陽性判定、8/11にその教職員が濃厚接触者としてPCR検査対象となったこと。

b)そのPCR検査の結果は早くても8/11午後5時以降ということ（8/11午後12時時点）

c)8/9からのお子様やご家族の健康状態について

をお伝えください。

引き続き、サマースクールのブログの更新にご留意ください。

２．返金処理について

規定に基づき返金処理を準備しております。9月末までに返金できるように計画しています。サマーブログおよびメールの更新をお待ちください。

Summer School Canceled for the remainder of the program/サマースクール全日程中止

Dear parents and guardians,

Members of our staff have been reported as close contacts of COVID19. CIS leadership has decided on school closure for the remainder of the summer school program. The school will act in accordance with the public health guidance and protocol.

Further updates will be provided through the blog and email. If you are a close contact, you will be contacted individually.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the situation.

本日夕方、当校教職員にコロナ感染症の濃厚接触者が複数名報告されました。当校統括会議により、サマースクールは残りの全日程をキャンセルし休校とすることが決定されました。当校は保健所や県のガイドラインにもとづいて対応を進めます。

今後の更新情報は引き続きこのブログとEメールでお知らせします。濃厚接触者の認定が会った場合には個別に連絡いたします。

Week #4 Parent Open Day Cancellation

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As the state of emergency remains in place in Saitama and the number of Covid cases throughout Japan remains a concern, the school has decided to cancel Parent Open Day for Week #4. Once again, we apologize for the cancellation, but feel it necessary to end the Summer School Program on a safe and healthy note. As always, we appreciate your continued support and understanding.

Requests from CIS Summer School サマースクールよりお願い

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The first day of summer school Week #1 has come to an end and I believe students enjoyed themselves very much.

To ensure that school days run smoothly, we would like to remind you to please pin the ribbon we provided on your child's backpack. Doing so, will ensure we know which bus line to place your child in or whether or not your child is attending after-school care.

Also, we kindly request that pick-up parents either wait in their cars or the school cafeteria until 14:35 for pick-up. We would like to keep the front entrance as clear as possible to avoid congestion.

さて、2点お願いがございます。

①事前にお渡ししたリボンをお子様のリュックに付けてくださいますようお願いいたします。

リボンの色で、バスの便や放課後預かりの確認をしていますので、必ずリボンをつけて来て下さるようお願いいたします。

②お迎え（預かり利用なし）の保護者の方は、玄関エリアの混雑を避けるため、14:35まではお車もしくはスクールカフェテリアでお待ちください。
