SCHOLARSHIP NOMINATIONS
NWSA Nominations for Fully-Funded School-Specific Scholarships
The scholarships listed below are highly competitive, merit-based scholarships that provide full funding for four years of college. Students can either self-nominate or be selected as a nominee from NWSA. NWSA is limited in how many nominees we can provide for each scholarship, so there is an application process to determine the school nominees. Please see the application process to be a school nominee below and note that this process is separate from the application process for the actual scholarship. Please review the information for the scholarships you apply for thoroughly- they have varying requirements as far as GPA, test scores, and other criteria, and have early deadlines for applying both to the university and to the scholarship. While it is understood that students will be stronger in some areas than in others, you are expected to show evidence of meeting all criteria for the scholarship for which you are applying.
The scholarships included in this process are:
Davidson - John Montgomery Belk Scholarship
NC A&T - Cheatham-White Scholarship
NC Central - Cheatham-White Scholarship
NC State - Park Scholarships
UNC Chapel Hill - Morehead-Cain Scholarship
Contact Mrs. Brown or Mr. French by Thursday, September 19th. Be sure to select ALL scholarships you want to interview for on the application.
UNC Charlotte Levine Scholars Program
The Levine Scholars program is similar to the fully-funded scholarships listed above, but students do not get the option of self-nominating. Harper can nominate an unlimited number of qualified students. To be nominated, you must contact Mrs. Brown or Mr. French by Thursday, October 3.
NC State Goodnight Scholars Program

An affinity for STEM demonstrated through extracurricular involvement or research.
A commitment to community service and civic engagement.
