Central Piedmont Community College provides a number of opportunities and resources for high school students to further their education beyond high school.

College Connection (video) is an early registration opportunity and guided enrollment program for currently enrolled CMS high school seniors to start their college process during the months of April - March. Participants will be registered for their fall semester of college before even graduating from high school! You are required to complete all the College Connection Enrollment steps outlined on the Central Piedmont enrollment pagel in order to participate in College Connection.


The Summer Bridge Program gives recent high school graduates an opportunity to get a jump start on college life while earning credit in this 6-week free summer enrichment program.


Students in the Presidential Scholars Program will receive scholarships to completely cover tuition and fees for a maximum of two years (fall and spring semesters). If eligible, Presidential Scholars could still receive other financial aid funds, such as Pell Grants.


YearUp is a transition program that has been introduced to the Charlotte area through Central Piedmont. Read more about the exciting launch of YearUp.



CPCC will be hosting information sessions for Seniors who are interested in finding out more information about attending CPCC after high school graduation.

10/13 Tuesday @ 3:30-4:40 pm and 7:00-8:00 pm sessions (Application Assistance Session)
