Patient Transport openings could be good opportunities for your students.. I’ve included an overview of the job description but essentially our patient transporters are responsible for moving patients throughout the hospital (discharge, from room to other areas in the hospital), customer service, and visitor relations. This is an entry-level position that only requires a high school diploma and the salary is $16/hr. This is a great way for someone to start in an entry-level role and move up within the system. • Role models a positive hospital image to patients, visitors and staff by adhering to the System's Core Values.

• Complete and maintain required training, educational programs, and certification.

• Attend meetings as required.

Position: Grading and Student Coaching Assistant (Part-Time during the school year with summer opportunities)

You will be tasked with working with students to develop focus and concentration, study skills and supporting students to work within 20-30 minutes or less on each subject, math or reading. You will be supporting all ages but primarily, young learners in developing learning confidence and a love of learning.  

• Applicants must be 15 years of age or older and/or in tenth grade with excellent math skills and math grades and English as well. 

• Applicant must be able to work 2, 3 or 4 hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for a minimum of 5 hours between the hours of 3 - 6:30 PM.

• The applicant must have a positive, conscientious and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for working with students. 

• The applicant must enjoy working in a fast paced team environment with a smile on their face, ready to encourage and learn student and staff names.  

Pay rate: $9 - 10 / hr

Expected hours per week: 5
