I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting information about our upcoming 2025 Summer Bridge Program and how it can support your students transition to Central Piedmont Community College or 4-year University (GPA could play a part in where a student may attend first).
Summer Bridge | Central Piedmont - CPCC
With Summer Bridge, enroll and earn up to seven college credit hours at Central Piedmont for six weeks in the summer. This helps you successfully transition from high school to college in a closed, structured, and supervised environment.

At Central Piedmont, graduating high school seniors can jump-start their college career through our Summer Bridge program. The six-week program includes intensive courses in math, reading, and writing; one-on-one instruction; and tutoring. Students receive affordable hands-on education, and can earn up to seven college credit hours this summer. The Summer Bridge program offers a supportive environment to help students successfully transition from high school to college.
Mid June to Mid July
Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–1:05 p.m.
Courses will be virtual, hybrid, and blended (hybrid/blended courses include both online and some face-to-face instruction).
Scholarships available for eligible students.
