We accept 100 ninth graders each year, and tenth graders as space allows due to student transitions.
Due to the scheduling requirements of the Early College and CPCC programs, we do not accept rising 11th or 12 graders unless they are coming from another Early College program.
if you are not currently enrolled in CMS, you will need to complete a future enrollment for next school year BEFORE enrolling in the lottery. Students already enrolled in CMS do NOT need to re-enroll.
Complete the magnet lottery application by the deadlines provided.
Families will be notified in early Spring about school placements for next school year.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a full magnet school, and the magnet program is a true lottery. CPEC staff do not have input on the students who are selected for our program.
