Due to the scheduling requirements of the Early College and CPCC programs, we are not able to accept rising 11th or 12 graders.
if you are not currently enrolled in CMS, you will need to complete a future enrollment for next school year. Students already enrolled in CMS do NOT need to re-enroll.
Complete the magnet lottery application by the deadlines provided.
Families will be notified in early Spring about school placements for next school year.
The student (not the parent!) should fill out this form. You can reference this document for help: CP Application Instructions for Middle & Early College Students
Note: completing this application does not guarantee admission into CPEC, but accepted students will need to have applied to CP to remain in the program. Receiving information from Central Piedmont Community College is NOT confirmation of acceptance into CPEC.
You will receive an email with a CP student ID number after completing the application. Once you get an email with your CP ID number, claim and activate your student login account . (If you have trouble activating your account, contact the ITS Service Desk or a student success navigator.) Your Central Piedmont login is also the first part of your Central Piedmont email. Record your username, password, and Central Piedmont email in a place you will be able to find it later. Once you have access, it's very important that you go into the account management portal and add a secondary email to help you access your account if you ever forget your password. You can then reset your password anytime using the "Forgot Password?" option in the account management portal. You'll also need to set up Duo Mobile MFA. Learn more about how to set up MFA on your device.
