Middle College

Off-campus opportunity - Middle College in Partnership with York Technical College

   Student attends class on the YTC campus.  The Clover School District provides transportation to York Technical College and pays for the tuition and books for each student. Students must complete an application as well as a scheduled interview to be considered for Middle College. Future plans, previous grades, discipline record and school attendance will be taken into consideration. 

University Transfer

This Middle College Pathway is for the student who plans to transfer from YTC to a university. Once accepted into the program, the student will choose college transferable classes such as College Orientation 101,  English 101, Psychology, College Algebra or Intro to Chemistry. 

Current 11th graders must apply prior to the deadline of January 30. 

If accepted, student would take College 101 first semester and spend second semester on the YTC campus.

Current 10th graders may apply using the same link below. Deadline for 10th grade students is March 30. If accepted,  student would take College 101 in 11th grade and a full year (12th grade) on the YTC Campus.



Utility Line Worker

The Utility Line Worker program is ideal for a student who desires to work with companies such as Duke Energy or  Comporium after high school graduation.  This is a high-demand professor in York County, SC.

Current 11th graders may apply. If accepted, students would take classes at the YTC campus 1st and 2nd block for the entire senior year. 


Welding


The Welding Pathway is for the student who plans to earn their Basic Welding Certificate while in high school. Students can then choose to begin work after high school or to continue in a two-year welding degree program.

Current 11th graders may apply. If accepted, students would take classes at the YTC campus 1st and 2nd block for the entire senior year.
