Financial Math (1 Credit) Grades 10-12
This course focuses on applying mathematical concepts to real-world financial situations. Students will learn about budgeting, saving, investing, loans, interest rates, and taxes, developing skills to make informed financial decisions. The course prepares students for managing personal finances and understanding economic principles in everyday life.

Scientific Research and Design (1 Credit) Grades 11-12
Scientific Research and Design is a broad-based course designed to allow districts and schools considerable flexibility to develop local curriculum to supplement any program of study or coherent sequence. The course has the components of any rigorous scientific or engineering program of study from the problem identification, investigation design, data collection, data analysis, formulation, and presentation of the conclusions. These components are integrated with the career and technical education emphasis of helping students gain entry-level employment in high-skill, high-wage jobs and/or continue their education.

Office Aide 1 & 2 (1 Credit) Grade 12
This class is for seniors only (Juniors on a rare occasion) Students will assist with clerical needs of the main office and others as assigned. Students will receive a grade and ONE (1) credit. Workplace skills such as filing, typing, and reception duties will be emphasized. Enrollment will be limited and selection based in part on attendance and conduct.
Library Aide 1 & 2 (1 Credit) Grade 12
This class is for seniors only (Juniors on a rare occasion) The course provides students with practical experience assisting in the school library while developing essential skills in library operations, communication, and customer service. Students learn to shelve materials, assist patrons with locating resources, process new materials, and may be involved in special projects like book fairs.
Counselor Aide 1 & 2 (1 Credit) Grade 12
This class is for seniors only (Juniors on a rare occasion) Students will assist with clerical needs of the counselors office and others as assigned. Students will receive a grade and ONE (1) credit. Workplace skills such as organizing student files, scheduling appointments, managing communication, and preparing materials for group activities may be required.
Classroom Aide (1 Credit) Grade 12
This class is for seniors only. This course provides students with hands-on experience assisting teachers and supporting students in the classroom. It may involve tasks like making copies, organizing materials, helping with lab setups, and assisting students with their work. Students also learn about classroom management, observing student behavior, and reinforcing positive behaviors.
