Ping Pong Tournament
Saturday, March 5, 2022
The annual ping pong tournament was a huge success once again. Students were seen practicing at all hours of the day leading up to the event. There were many strong players in the field, but in the end Mickey won a close battle with Natalie to take first place
2019-20
January 17, 2020 Update
Finally we will finish season 1!
It is still all to play for with The Panda's topping the league with 36 pts closely followed by the Qilin on 31 and the snow leopards on 13 pts.
The south stand award is being hotly contested with all sides on at least 2 pts with the Pandas sneaking ahead on 3.
Can the Pandas go into the new year break with a 14 pt lead? or will the other teams take some much needed points!
Good luck !
Mr Jones
September 3, 2019 Update:
Dear all,
welcome to our first varsity league day of the year!
The schedule for the first two acts is attached. Its time to start developing our teams and our team spirit on the first of many great weekends.
We will see the reigning champions The third floor Pandas will take on the Second floor Snow Leopards In a mixed sevens rugby showdown (each team must have two girls on the pitch at all times).
This will be on the field KO 3:15
They will also take on Qi Lin in a volleyball extravaganza. Again mixed with the same rules as rugby (must have at least 2 girls at all times)
This will be in the GT gym KO 3:15
In a heavy week for the Pandas they will also play the snow leopards in the Netball Gala in another mixed game. (must have at least two boys at all times)
this will also be in the GT Gym KO 2:00
And finally our separate gender football game..
Second floor snow leopards vs Fourth floor QiLin
two games at the same time 5 vs 5 tentatively on the primary school astro turf.
KO 2:00
Don't forget the coveted south stand award last year won by the snow leopards for their unwavering support, not only of their team but also supporting excellent performances from other teams.
(great sing songs on the way and from Dragon boating. First south stand awards for this awarded on 16th September)
lets have a weekend of sporting excellence coupled with that most important part of sports - fair play and positive support. No sledging will be tolerated from players or supporters. Remember to keep cool heads when competing.
