In 2020, we introduced the Digital Invention Log, which is still available for use, though it is not mandatory. Students can choose to document their inventions in a notebook or use the digital log. If you opt for the digital log, please print a copy for the judges to review on April 1st.

If you would like to present digital media, such as videos, to the judges, be sure to upload these files to the Google Classroom assignment. The judges will focus on how well the problem, process, and solution (invention) are communicated. While the format will not be graded, clear communication of the inventor’s ideas is essential for scoring. Choose the method that works best for your inventor!
