Unit Overview:
In this unit, students will recognize how engineers, designers, and technologists all approach problems using the same mindset and processes. Students will utilize the engineering design process and make connections to how it is used in the real world across various fields of study. Appropriate instruction in the safe operation of tools and equipment and be given and through hands on-learning experiences students will develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. Students will recognize that technology is a tool that can benefit us but also do harm if used inappropriately.
