Aqila has been fascinated with the topic of colorism Impacts social perceptions, self-esteem.

Her goal is to raise awareness among young teenagers about Colorism and their effects social perceptions, self-esteem by creating a youtube video explaining the roots and perspectives behind Colorism.

Another reason that she chose this issue is because she’s personally also been a victim of the harmful nature of colorism. Buying many skin bleaching/skin whitening products that have dangerous chemicals. Creating an unhealthy and addicting need for having lighter skin.

In the seminar, Aqila presented her research on Colorisms history and Impact. After the presentation, the participants spreading ultimately awareness on the topic

Aqila shows the dimensions of caring and action-oriented by making an interactive seminar to raise awareness about microplastics so that other people care about how it affects the environment. He did great work and proved that he was a committed person by putting his/her best effort to finish this project.
