Using a personalised timetable, The ESP allows student-athletes to combine their 3 A Level choices with six additional sporting sessions. Within these sporting sessions, they will receive Individual Development Plans that include one-on-one/small group skill acquisition & video analysis with our professional coaches. Our professional Strength & Conditioning staff lead sessions, which deliver programmes to improve all fundamental aspects relevant to a range of sports, ultimately allowing athletic performance to the highest level. Our S&C coaches also implement rehab sessions and collaborate with our professional Yoga coach to ensure recovery and prevent over-training. This bespoke programme is designed to tie in with other sporting organisations the student-athlete may be linked with to ensure their long term development plan is cohesive & holistic and provides the best environment for them to flourish.

Student-athletes are assigned a mentor who supports them with any pastoral or academic challenges they may face due to the demands of combining training / performing with their progress in the classroom.

Potential students are required to apply for the ESP via the Director of Sport at gilesheagerty@chschool.co.uk highlighting their sporting success and aspirations along with their academic profile.
