The Butte College Reg2Go program fast-tracks your enrollment to Butte College by providing step-by-step support in the application process and transition from high school to college. Reg2Go partners with Chico High School to inspire and support students as they make the transition from high school to college.
Step 1: December 2nd and 3rd 2025 - Apply to Butte College for the 2026/2027 Academic School Year
The Butte College Recruitment & Outreach Technicians will visit Chico High School to tell you about Butte College and support you step-by-step with the Butte College application.
No sign up needed to participate! During your Government or Economics class, a CHS staff member will walk the participating students to the library to meet with a Butte College representative who will guide you step-by-step through the registration process for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
Step 2: Complete a Financial Aid Application
Completing a Financial Aid Application can open doors to fee waivers, grants, scholarships, and loans that can ease your financial worries and allow you to focus on your studies. First-time, full-time students who are California residents or AB540 may be eligible to receive the Butte College Promise Scholarship (BCPS) which covers tuition and fees for up to the first two years. You must have a financial aid application on file to qualify.
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using the Butte College Federal School Code: 006972
OR
Complete the CA Dream Act Application (CADAA) for students with an undocumented status
Step 3: Update Your Program of Study
Need to change or add a Program of Study? Make your updates on the Program of Study Update Form. Log in using your Butte College email and password.
Step 4: Attend Reg2Go Orientation at the Butte College Campus
Chico High School will be bussing ours student to Butte College to attend the Reg2Go orientation. We offer two dates for students to choose from. Orientation is a great way to start your Butte College journey and become familiar with the campus. During Orientation, you will take a campus tour, learn about campus resources, and register for classes with a Butte College Counselor.
