The ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) is a FREE career planning resource available to high schools nationwide. It is designed to help students better understand their strengths, interests, and potential career paths, whether or not they are considering military service.
The program includes the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), one of the most widely used multiple-aptitude test batteries in the world. The ASVAB measures skills in areas such as math, science, reading comprehension, and technical knowledge, helping students identify where their abilities may align with different careers.
In addition to the ASVAB test, students complete an interest inventory that explores what types of work environments and activities they enjoy. These results are matched with a comprehensive occupational database that includes both civilian and military career options, giving students an in-depth look at a wide range of career possibilities.
