What is conceptual understanding and learning through a conceptual lense?
Specified Concepts (previously known as key concepts)
For each inquiry, student will be learning under the umbrella of two or three main specified concepts which frame and drive the learning. We may touch on other specified concepts during the course of inquiries due to the nature of transdisciplinary teaching and learning.
The seven specified concepts are:
Form - What is it like?
Function - How does it work?
Causation - Why is it as it is?
Change - How is it transforming?
Connection - How is it linked to other things?
Perspective - What are the points of view?
Responsibility - What are our obligations?
