Principal's Message:

October 26, 2025

Dear Panther Families,

We’re excited to share a few updates to keep you informed and connected as we close out the first quarter!

Middle School Clubs

As part of our effort to increase student engagement and help students feel more connected to school, we are introducing Middle School Clubs once a month on Fridays, beginning Friday, October 31, during the school day. This time is intentionally scheduled so it does not interfere with core instructional periods.

Clubs will give students the chance to explore new interests, collaborate with peers, and build relationships with staff and classmates outside of their core classes. Students will be able to choose from a variety of options such as coding, crocheting, music, art, Just Dance, basketball, writing, and puzzles. Each month, students can select a new club, allowing them to experience different activities throughout the year.

Our goal is to start with middle school this year and gradually expand to elementary grades in the future, ensuring every student has opportunities to learn, lead, and connect through shared interests.

Grades & Infinite Campus

Final grades for the first quarter will be available in Infinite Campus on or after November 5. We’ve encouraged students to check in with their teachers to discuss any missing assignments or low grades and to take advantage of opportunities to resubmit work for improvement.

Grades are designed to reflect both student learning and effort. Our teachers have worked diligently to follow the Chatham County Schools Grading Policy, which emphasizes fairness, multiple opportunities for mastery, and clear communication with students and families. We are proud of the progress and determination we’ve seen from our students this quarter—many have shown tremendous growth and perseverance!

If you have any concerns about your child’s grades or performance, please reach out directly to their classroom teacher, who can provide specific feedback and next steps. Families may also review the Chatham County Schools Grading Policy for detailed information on our grading practices and procedures.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support. Together, we’re helping our students grow academically, socially, and personally each day.
