Dear Panther Family,

The first week back to school concluded with tremendous success as teachers demonstrated their commitment to academic excellence by immediately engaging students in meaningful learning experiences. The positive momentum was further demonstrated through several visits from Central Services personnel, who expressed their satisfaction with the quality of teaching, the positive school culture, and the welcoming climate that has been established throughout the building.

As we move into the upcoming week, families should note important schedule changes and activities. Monday will be a holiday in observance of Labor Day, with all students and staff enjoying a well-deserved day off. School will resume on Tuesday, marking not only the return to regular instruction but also the beginning of fall sports tryouts for interested student athletes.

Student participation in fall sports requires proper preparation and documentation. All students wishing to try out for fall athletic teams must have a current physical examination on file with the school before they can participate in any tryout activities. Students who have not yet completed their physical requirements are welcome to stay after school to observe the tryout process, but they will not be permitted to actively participate until their medical clearance is properly documented.

We appreciate all parents and families for their cooperation with established safety protocols. The adherence to car rider line procedures and afternoon dismissal guidelines has been exemplary, directly supporting the school's primary commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all students and staff. When everyone follows these established safety procedures, the school can ensure the well-being of the entire school community.

As the weekend approaches, we look forward to continued success and positive momentum when students return on Tuesday, ready for another productive week of learning and growth.
