GRADES 9-12 RESOURCES

K-12 RESOURCES

OVERVIEW INFORMATION

  • Students who are at home, either because they selected to be on virtual instruction or because they are in Grades 6-12 and at home every other day, must log into the Google Meet that corresponds with their classroom or class period every day.

  • Attendance will be taken via Google Meet.

  • Students working virtually from home must be present in the Google Meet for the same period of time as students who are physically in school.

  • The camera in the classroom will be directed toward the front of the classroom and capture the teacher and front board.

  • The teacher will stream the portions of the lesson that take place in the front of the room as s/he deems appropriate.

  • Teachers will communicate daily assignments, as well as share materials and resources via Google Classroom (grades K-8) and Schoology (grades 9-12), our district's learning management systems (LMS). You may view some videos on accessing and using Google Classroom here and Schoology resources here.

  • Students should participate in their live Google Meet sessions with their cameras on. With rare exception, these Google Meet sessions will be conducted in small groups or individually and will NOT be recorded. We hope this makes students more comfortable in participating fully.
