Social Emotional Learning

The School District of the Chathams is aware that all of our students and families have been impacted in some way by COVID-19, and we are prepared to continue to support our students when they return to school in August.

  • Resources are available to assist your student with mental health needs, this ranges from direct support from our school counselors, social workers, psychologists and school nurses as well as linking your child with community resources if needed.

  • Frequent student check-ins both in person and virtual will be occurring in the fall to ensure students who may need additional emotional or mental health support are connected with support staff.

  • Social Emotional Learning will continue in all our schools to help foster resiliency and social skills.
