BookHolder
The process for making a bookholder was quite easy and difficult at the same time. You had to carry out each step correctly and carefully. Firstly you had to open fusion 360 and pick the correct plane. Then, you had to create constronction lines on the lines of the plane. Next you had to create a circle around the orgin of the plane. Then I made and arc using the construction lines around the circle. I used the mirror tool and made 3 more copies. The end product looked a bit symetrical. I then spaced out everything to make it into the bookholder shape. Finally when the sketch was done, I extruded it to make it 3D and I also added a fillets to smooth the corners. I then added make name using the text option and extruded that aswell.

Lego Brick
The lego brick was much easier than the bookholder. I first made a rectangle sketch and extruded it. After that, I made one circle on the wider side and I extruded it. I used the first circle to make 7 more copies. I made 4 rows and 2 collums. Next, I flipped over the unfinished lego design and used teh shell option to make it hollow. Then I make two circles on the shelled side. I then extruded the two circles and I used a fillet to round all the corners on the lego. Teh final step was to add my name. I went into sketch mode and added my name on the side of the lego.

Thingiverse Modification and Process
To be able to modify I had to choose what I wanted to modify. First, I went into Thingiverse and chose a cool looking keychain. Then I downloaded that design and opened it into fusion 360. However, the hardest and longest part was turning the mesh into faces. here are the steps.
I selected the mesh tab.
I then selceted Generate face groups.
I switched from fast to accurate.
I changed the tolerance to 0.1
I then converted it to a mesh.
It took about 30 minutes to completely convert the mesh. After it was finished, I had to modify the design. I did that by adding my initals to it. I created a plane in order to get it onto the right side. I added each inital indivdually and extruded it indivdually to get my final product.
Reflection on NC state article
This article showed me how technololy in advancing and how much it can affect lives. The Article showed how 3D printing can be helpful in saving lives and bettering lives. The 3D printing helped the doctors to be able to give a dog the abilty to walk better. The 3D printed model helped the doctors have a visual represtenation of the dogs legs. Which later helped them develop the tibia for the dog. This makes me think of the many more ways 3D printing can be used in the future.
