For the final project we will be making a lamp. We will use wood, resin, seeed RP240, and 4 neopixels to make this lamp. We use the seed to program the neopixels with our desired color. This lamp will successfully light up,
The original maker of this lamp is MB resin art. Like the orginal we will use small wood pieces and LEDs and fill it with resin. However, we will not stagger the wood pieces or scatter the lights in the resin. Instead we will drill inside of the wood and lay the LEDs there neatly.
April 17th
I picked out my wood and i cut it in halve
I then cut it into 15 even pieces
Here is the Link to me cutting the wood into the different pieces.
I uploaded the library onto my seed
I then used chat GBT to upload the colors for my neopixel
I glued my wood pieces together in 3 different layers and then I clapped them together/
After that, I soldered wires onto my neopixel.
After the wood dried I places them under the sander in order to get the sides smooth.
I then glued the smooth pieces togethe and clapped them together.
After all the wood pieces dried together, I sanded all the edges.
May 9-14th I worked on my cutting board
I slit my wood unevenly for the resin.
I then drilled the electrical hole for my wires.
I used my seed and aligator clips to test my code on my neopixels. Black was in ground, red was in the 3 volt, and yellow was in pin D0.
It worked!
I cut the place where the neopixels will lay.
I also cut where the wires and seeed will lay.
I then drilled a whole in the places I cut and glued my neopixels down and put the wires through the hole. I then connected the wires to my seeed
I made a file in corel draw for the barrier to pour the resin. Here is the Link to me pouring the resin.
The resin wasn't able to completely harden so I had to remove it and refill it. The wires and my seeed also removes so I had to rewire.
Mrs. Morrow was able to refill and rewire my lamp for me and after all I had to do was reprogram my code onto my seed.
