Description: For this project I had to solder differenct pieces on a PCB board correctly for the the board to light up.
Preperation: In order to solder safely and correctly I had to wear goggles. I also had to solder on a tile so I don't cause any damage to the table and anything on it, and I made sure I always placed the soldering Iron in the socket in order to prevent myself and others from getting hurt.
I inserted the 10K Potentiometer, Capacitor 1, Capacitor 3, Capacitor 2 , 10K Ohm Resistor, and the DC-in Socket into the PCB guiding lines. The longer end is positive so it goes in the positive side. This is either represented by a + or a square. And the shorter side goes in the negative end. I then soldered them onto my board.
Then I insert the triodes into the corresponding outlines on your PCB board. You'll do this by pulling the middle leg up and placing it the right way on the board. After that I just soldered them onto the board.
Finally, I inserted the longer and shorter intergrated circuit into my board and soldered it.
The next step was to put all 9 200 Ohm Resistor on my board and solder it onto my board. I had to make sure I put them in the correct spots which were R2-R10.
After that I put all 11 of my 1k Ohm resistors on my board. I made sure I put them in the spots labled 1k and R1 and soldered them into my board.
After placing the resitors, I started placing the LED lights in red and yellow patteren. I placed the longer leg in the square hole and the shorter leg in the circle hole. I did thsi because one side is negative and the other one is positive I made sure I skipped the slot before the middle for patteren reasons.
I slowly filled the board in the red and yellow LED patteren and soldered them onto my board.
I then soldered the middle yellow LEDs.
This is the final result after placing all the LED lights in the holes.
This is backside of the final result. After each step, I made sure they weren't touching and that the wires were cut as low as possible.
This is the video of the lit up PCB board.
The only problem I encoutered was that I accidently soldered together two pieces on my board but I easily fixed it by using a solder sucker and an iron to suck up the two pieces.
