Lace up those tennis shoes, throw on some slides, sling on those boots, and take a walk! Getting fresh air and having some space to think about things can do wonders for us mentally and emotionally.
As you are walking, take a body inventory and think about these things:
How am I feeling in this moment?
Am I thirsty? Am I hungry?
If so, make sure to grab a glass of water or a snack when you return from your walk.
Am I experiencing knee pain? Foot pain? Joint Pain?
If so, you may want to end your walk early and rest.
Do I have tension in my shoulders?
Does my back hurt?
If so, you may want to end your walk early and rest.
What is currently troubling me that I can leave behind on this walk?
