Bodies

added before Jan. 25th

Some are tall. Some are short. Some are thin. Some are thick. Some have scars. Some have markings. Some are light. Some are dark. Some are soft. Some are hard. Some are complete. Some have parts missing. Some are old. Some are new. Some are bumpy. Some are smooth. Some have hair. Some don’t. Some are damaged. Some are pristine. Some make their owners happy. Some make their owners horribly sad. All bodies are different, but they all have one thing in common; they all belong to somebody.

I have a body. I have two blue eyes and two eyebrows, one blonde and one brown. I have long red hair that gets in my face when the car windows roll down. I have pale freckled skin that burns if i stay in the sun for too long. I have thin arms that cannot hold me up. I have feet, both of which have five toes. I have long legs that can run eight laps around the track field, as long as I need to. I have a torso, that grows and shrinks depending on how well I take care of myself. I have two healthy lungs that help me breathe, and a strong skeleton that has never once been broken. I have a voice that speaks whatever it wants to. And I have a brain. I have a brain that tells me what to do. It tells me what I do and don’t like. It tells me what to draw and what to write and what to say. It tells me that I have a body. It tells me that I am a human.
